Product Updates: December 2016
By Colin Ryan
We’re pleased to announce several new features and improvements across the Placester Platform.
New Admin Panel Navigation
One of our most important goals as a company is making online marketing easier for real estate professionals. With that in mind, we’ve redesigned our admin panel (see animation above) to make it more simple, intuitive, and user-friendly.
Instead of lumping all of Placester’s core apps (Sites, Leads, IDX Listings, and Plans) together, the new admin panel shifts each to its own dedicated page, accessible via the icon at the top right of your admin panel. This helps you focus in on the task at hand, while making it easy to switch seamlessly between one Placester app to another.
Search Improvements: Property Type & Neighborhood
Excellent property search is the cornerstone of a great real estate website, and we’ve made our search platform even more robust with expanded Property Types and Neighborhoods. Now, website visitors can filter and refine their searches based on data provided by your MLS about property type (e.g. townhouse, multi-family, land) and neighborhood, as well as specific housing subdivisions, complexes, or communities.
Support for Facebook Pixel
One of our most-requested features is now live! The Facebook Pixel is a piece of code you can install on your Placester website that enables you to track visitors who arrive on your website from Facebook ads and monitor which pages they visit, helping you optimize your ad campaigns and audiences. (Form submission tracking coming soon!)
To add a Facebook Pixel to a page, simply visit the Sites app in your Placester admin panel, click “Edit Site,” and select “Site Tracking.” For more in-depth instructions, visit our support article.
As any real estate agent who’s switched software platforms knows, moving from one website or CRM to another can pose a significant challenge. Our new Leads Import tool makes it quick and easy to add a list of leads from a previous CRM or spreadsheet to your Placester admin panel. Simply visit the “My Leads” screen in your Placester Leads app, click “More,” and select “Import.” Check out our support article for a full list of step-by-step instructions.
Home Valuation Pages
While there’s a wide selection of tools and resources out there to help real estate agents attract buyers online, seller leads are a different story. That’s why we built Home Valuation Page templates.
With Home Valuation Pages, you can create a dedicated page that invites curious homeowners or current sellers to learn what their home is worth, enabling you to capture their address and providing a fantastic opportunity to promote your expertise. Home Valuation Page content is fully customizable, so you can tailor your message and call to action to fit your audience and needs.
Home Valuation Pages are available for all of our site designs and accessible to Essential and Premium customers, as well as Keller Williams associates with Placester’s Engagement Bundle.
