What are active contacts?

An active contact is someone you're currently communicating with via your Placester admin panel. This includes email blasts and drip campaigns, as well as phone calls or texts placed directly from Placester's mobile app. Once a contact or lead is active, you can communicate with them however you want, as often as you want—no restrictions.

Users with Placester's Agent Pro subscription can have 300 active contacts per month. (Note that because drip marketing campaigns typically span multiple weeks and months, some active contacts may carry over from one month to another.)

Why does Placester charge a setup fee?

At Placester, we’re committed to our customers’ success. That doesn’t mean selling them software and walking away: It means guiding them through the process of configuring their Placester tools and offering strategies for using those tools to nurture online leads.

What’s included in my setup fee?

During setup, your Customer Success Manager will help you activate the core pages and features of your Placester website and tools. Services include:

  • Guided IDX integration
  • Adding basic site details and contact info
  • Configuring Advanced Lead Capture settings
  • Activating Map Search
  • Adding Placester-provided websites pages, including Area Pages, Buyer Pages, Seller Pages, and a Home Valuation Page
