Introduction

Sometimes users will run into issues adding listings into Placester. Below we’ll take a look at why listings are rejected because of invalid addresses.

Invalid Address Error – why is this happening?

If you attempt to enter in a listing into Placester and receive the error message ‘Invalid Address’ it’s likely that the address was entered incorrectly. Placester uses Google Maps to verify all addresses that are entered into the system so the listings can be plotted and displayed on a map. If Google can’t map the address, the listing can’t be added to the system.

I know this is an actual Address

Sometimes the address does exist, but Google hasn’t mapped that area yet. This may occur for new developments that are currently under construction or for those that are recently completed. In these cases we recommend inputting an approximate address that Google can find so you can add the listing into the system.
