Creating Pages: An Overview
You’ll notice that most of our themes come with some pages built in and ready to go out of the box. You can view the pre-built pages under the Pages tab in WordPress.
Adding a New Page
You might decide to add a new, custom page to your site. To get started, click on Add New from the Pages tab within WordPress. You’ll notice there are two places that you can click:
Choosing a Page Template
Our themes come with page templates ready to go out of the box. Premium themes include templates for pages specific to Agents, Neighborhoods, etc. For a custom page with custom content, you might want to stick to a default template. Please refer to our support article on page templates to learn more about how to use these to their fullest potential.
You’ll see the page template dropdown in the right column under Page Attributes.
Editing Your Page
This will bring you to a page editor. You can add in a title, custom text and images from here.
Publishing Your Page
When you’ve made all the desired edits to your page, be sure to click “Publish” on the right hand side of the screen.
Viewing Your Page
Once you’ve published your page, you can view it by clicking “View Page” under the title. Please note that your page will be live and indexable at this point, but visitors most likely will not come across it until you’ve added it to your menu or link to it somewhere within your site.
