Release Notes – September 13, 2013
By Matt Williams
Various backend updates and enhancements.
Significant upgrades to the performance of Placester Hosted platform
Optimized Schema.org Microdata tags for testimonials
When editing the featured listings in the Featured Listings Shortcode’s Listing Picker, the preview images position was wrong. This is fixed.
Plymouth – List of Listings used to show beds, baths, and square footage. Now square footage has been replaced with Price. All details are of course shown in the property details view.
Plymouth – In some rare cases, featured neighborhoods weren’t working correctly. This is fixed.
Phoenix – Search form was occasionally causing submission errors. This is fixed.
If a listing doesn’t include beds or baths, such as in commercial properties and lots, the built in shortcodes would show 0 beds 0 baths. Now it doesn’t include the text at all. Of course you can override this behavior with a new template.
Sometimes when global filters were in use, City and State dropdowns in shortcodes were empty. This is fixed.
The plugin had a conflict with PHP 5.2. This is fixed.
If you configured the static listings shortcode to hide the sort options, they were shown anyway. This is fixed.

I am all about getting developers excited and efficient at using the Placester platform. To achieve this, I write blog posts, film videos, create code samples, and answer all of the more technical questions that come in our our support lines. Before joining the team at Placester, I held similar roles at Yottaa, Open Text, Microsoft, along with consulting roles at Oracle, Sun, Intel, IBM, and many others.
